Surprisingly good, for the price
I give it 5 starts for the price to flavor ratio. It has a very grassy flavor with a mild bitter note

. It's not high end matcha, but I like it! It's MUCH better than an organic $1/gram matcha that my wife bought on Amazon. That stuff was bitter as can be.

tasted bitter. But a couple days later (usually store in the freezer), it tasted surprisingly smooth. This has a pretty strong flavor that cuts through milk. I like this one especially for latte. But i have had this by itself and it tastes good as long as your brew it at 160 F. I also love the teahouse matcha by itself. Both these teas are at a GREAT price point. I think i am gonna settle for the teahouse matcha for usucha and barista matcha for latte. I have settled on these two after tasting a lot of high end brands of matcha from different companies. Rishi offers great quality for amazing price. Also these teas are organic, which is extremely hard to find for matcha !

for those new to matcha. Not. too astringent or vegetal if your taste hasn't adapted. A wonderful taste and foam. I so enjoy this matcha. You will, too if you aren't used drinking it straight. Everyday is a misnomer in my opinion. A wonderful experience.
