San Louis Patosi
Mexico
Nestled in the plateau 415 kilometers slightly northwest from Mexico City, our vanilla farming partners in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, pollinate and harvest this most precious botanical ingredient.
The second most expensive crop to Saffron, Vanilla is majority hand-pollinated
and the journey of cultivating the incredible spice is a labor of love, taking over
a year to complete from pollination, to harvesting, to curing, and to export.
At Rishi, we take care to use flavor that is derived only from vanilla beans and whole vanilla pods and not a pharmaceutical distillation, so we are so grateful for our partners, the artisans in Mexico that meticulously hand craft vanilla for our captivating botanical and tea blends.

Maybe I’m not a Chai girl? I like a tea that has more spice than smoky notes to me.
Was this helpful?Rishi Tea & Botanicals9 hours agoHi Lisa! Thanks for giving the Vanilla Mint Chai a try, we understand that chai preferences can be so personal. It sounds like you might enjoy teas with brighter, more pronounced spice notes rather than the rich characteristics you picked up in this blend. Please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team, we would love to help with recommendations to find the perfect blend for you.
