Brew Exceptional Tea With Organic Tea Bags

You deserve the best cup of tea, whether you’re at home or on the go. Many of our aromatic and flavorful loose leaf teas are available in biodegradable tea sachets, making it easy to brew your favorite tea or tea blend anywhere. Stock up your office or take them along for travel. Our pyramid-shaped tea bags preserve the delicate flavors and aromas that make Rishi teas so celebrated.

How to Use Tea Sachets

Our organic tea bags are easy to use, with suggested brewing instructions for each tea available on the packaging. As a general guideline, steep one sachet in 8 ounces of hot water for 3 to 4 minutes, depending on tea type. For larger mugs or teapots, simply increase the number of bags per 8 ounces of water.

Our Unique Sachets

These teas are available in pyramid-shaped sachets, an ideal design for tea bags that gives the leaves more room to expand and allows water to circulate freely, resulting in a quicker, more balanced infusion of flavor. Choose a bag of 30 unwrapped sachets for a month’s supply of your favorite, or try a new blend with our 15-count wrapped sachets.

Our organic tea bags are made from plant-based PLA, an inert, non-petroleum material that biodegrades easily in commercial composting systems. At Rishi Tea & Botanicals, we are committed to sustainability in the tea industry, supporting Direct Trade relationships with the organic farms our ingredients come from and working to minimize our environmental impact.

Don’t worry – if you don’t see the tea sachet you’re looking for in this collection, you can purchase the tea loose leaf and use tea filters for easy steeping with minimal cleanup. Other types of infusers will also work to keep the leaves contained while brewing.

Our 15-count tea bags come in secondary overwrap packaging, so they require minimal care. Store them in a cool, dry place like your pantry or cupboard. If you transfer them to a tea storage tin, the overwrap will still protect them from moisture and air—just be sure the container shields them from sunlight.

Our 30-count options come unwrapped in a resealable bag. Keep them stored in the bag provided, making sure to seal it to protect the tea from moisture and air.

Like all food products, tea bags have an expiration date. While older tea bags aren’t harmful to drink, their flavor will diminish over time. Proper storage—protecting them from light, heat, air, and moisture—can help extend the shelf life and preserve the quality of your tea.
