    Shipping slower than snail mail ... But the bowl is perfect!

    Two weeks to arrive via FedEx smartpost. Delivery date changed several times. Despite holiday delays, my package was completely misdirected and took forever to arrive. Although Rishi shipped promptly, the delivery service they selected (FedEx) is terrible! If I had known, I might have paid extra for faster shipping (although I'm not sure I would trust that if it is also FedEx). The bowl itself is wonderful. Very thick, but the heat does come through the sides. I personally love that warmth while enjoying my Matcha on a snowy morning! Easy to whisk. Sturdy and Dishwasher safe. Five stars for the bowl but two stars for shipping FedEx. Rishi is great but I'm not sure I would order from this site again due to the shipping.

    Humble matcha bowl for my everyday needs!

    I was thrilled to find this humble "everyday" matcha bowl by Rishi! I admire its humble simplicity, but also that it is smaller & less wide than other chawan options, (as extra width causes faster heat loss.) But as someone who prefers using a milk frother, I like to prepare my "usucha" matcha in a glass measuring cup first before pouring it into the matcha bowl to avoid leaving scratches.
