Yerba Mate is an uplifting and energizing herb that is indigenous to the Amazon and is wildly popular throughout parts of South America for its robust flavor. pine-like, grassy flavor and I struggled to find another brand with a similar flavor until I recently purchased this yerba mate from Rishi. This is what I have been looking for! I agree with the previous reviewer about the addictive aroma of this mate. I love to drink this with a bit of honey. I savor the aftertaste that lingers after I finish it and I also might even like the flavor of a second steeping even more than the first. A bonus for me is that due to it's robust flavor I don't have to steep a large amount to get the flavor I want like I have with other brands. Therefore, the amount of caffeine doesn't end up being too high for me.

. It doesn't have the smoke-house taste that other brands offerings do, which is a plus for me. Energizing but no caffeine jitters. A breed above the common marketplace. Will definitely order again.
