About this Product
Sencha Superior is made from the predominant Yabukita cultivar of Shizuoka, Japan and offers the classic, bittersweet and balanced umami flavor that represents the original Japanese Sencha taste profile. Sencha Superior is mostly from high grown gardens in Shizuoka and undergoes a light steaming process called asamushi that is employed by tea farmers to preserve the tea's inherent varietal and origin characteristics. YUMMY SENCHA TEA
Yes, I think this is "superior"! I just received yesterday and have already had 3 cups. Sweetened
...
lightly with honey, but the taste is great even without. This will be one which I will reorder. Does it come in bags? I got the loose tea and have a cool teapot with a fine mesh strainer on top. I like the loose because I can make it as strong or not as I prefer. Great tea!

Sencha Superior
Nice brew but not necessarily a standout. Good for an everyday choice.

An enlivening and refreshing green tea with a rich savory-sweet flavor and creamy mouthfeel
Refreshing and brisk with a pleasant bitter-sweetness, deep umami flavor and a greenish-golden infusion color
