About this Product
Wild Thai Black is an exciting addition to our collection of single-origin black teas. Hailing from a remote mountainous region in northern Thailand, where the growing conditions are truly wild, this ancient forest tea presents an impressive strength and rich flavor. The complex tannic structure and phenolic density of these old roots tea trees provide a bold body and robust ruby red infusion. With its rich vivacity and robust, malty character, Wild Thai Black offers a far more rustic and adventurous black tea experience than the common (and easily accessed) colonial heritage teas from Assam, Darjeeling, or Ceylon.

This is so delicious
This is a fantastic tea. I tried it with a 1/4 lb bag purchase and now I will order 2 lbs of this. It
...
is very creamy, mild and pleasant of taste. Straight black, but with a lot of character and "friendliness". I wanted to take a long time with this tea to savor it and enjoy it to the fullest, and I look forward to my next cup.

Excellent
I've been looking for a hearty black tea to love for a long time, and I think I have found it. This
...
is a lovely strong, full-flavored black tea which marries well with almond milk - without having to dilute your tea with more non-dairy milk than tea. It's a really smooth tasting tea without any bitter after-taste. And I have to admit that I love that it comes from a place far from the usual suspects of black tea.

surprisingly excellent
I always drink tea straight, no sweeteners, nothing added. That usually means breakfast blends are a

gamble for me as most are bitter and tannic. Wild Thai Black however is wonderful straight, no bitterness and none of the overwhelming astringent taste other blends have. Definitely needs a lower water temp and diligence during the steep timing otherwise I'm sure it would end up gross. I go 3-4 minutes max and it's great.
