About this tea
Our pure African rooibos is delicious hot or iced and tastes brilliant served with a thin slice of lemon. Traditionally harvested by the ancient Khoisan nomads of South Africa, rooibos became popularized in the global tea trade through Dutch efforts to find an indigenous African alternative to black tea.

Nestled in the heart of South Africa, the breathtaking Cederberg region captivates with its rugged, majestic beauty. Towering sandstone cliffs, adorned with ancient rock art, create a mesmerizing landscape that transports you to another era. Traditional Preparation

Water Temperature: 195°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Steep Time: 5-7 minutes

For the perfect cup of loose leaf rooibos tea, boil about 8 ounces of water and pour over one tablespoon of tea. Let it steep for 5 to 7 minutes, then enjoy the rich, full-bodied flavor.

    An absolutely delicious rooibos!

    An absolutely delicious rooibos! I have tried a few others to compare flavor and price. Rishi’s will cost you a little more but remains FAR superior in color and flavor. It creates the most beautiful red/orange tea. I like to put milk and a dollop of maple syrup in mine. So warming and comforting in the evenings :)
