About this tea
Prized for its attractive red infusion color, Rooibos has a robust body and nectar-like flavor. It is delicious hot or iced and tastes brilliant served with a thin slice of lemon. Traditionally harvested by the ancient Khoisan nomads of South Africa, Rooibos became popularized in the global tea trade through Dutch efforts to find an indigenous African alternative to black tea.
