This is a fantastic tea to sip for relaxation and simple enjoyment. I lived on Crete in the 1980’s and find this tea to be very like the tea I had there.

Current obsession. My local grocery stopped carrying, so I’ve shifted to buying online. It lifts when sluggish and calms when amped.

This tea's very strong, dry, oregano driven flavor may not please some palates, but I love it. The fragrance evokes a field of arid, mountain desert herbs on a hot August afternoon after a thundershower - strong and earthy, but clean and wild. A teaspoon of Maca root powder, mixed in after brewing and straining the tea, pairs well and mellows the flavor considerably.
