About this tea
Ginger is one of the principal ingredients in the traditional herbal medicines and food cultures of Asia. Each year we taste ginger from a range of origins to select only the most zesty and energizing. We seek a specific balance of enlivening, pungent spicy heat with a bright, lemony aroma.
Organic ginger root
Based on a 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.
Water Temperature: 200°F
Leaf to Water Ratio: 1 tablespoon per 8 ounces
Infusion Time: 4-5 minutes
