Grapefruit Quince

Grapefruit quince elevates everyday replenishment with juicy hibiscus, aromatic yuzu citrus and succulent quince fruit in the perfect harmony of tangy bittersweet effervescence. Hibiscus is enjoyed throughout the tropical regions of the world for its rejuvenating properties. Fragrant lemongrass and real grapefruit peel add refreshing brightness.

About

The hard, woody flesh of Quince is astringent from its high content of antioxidant catechins and tannins so it must be slowly simmered to coax out its exquisite fruity sweetness and tropical flowery aroma. Hibiscus and aromatic citrus peels are briefly steeped just prior to the cold crash to add a layer of quenching brightness and succulence. Finally, pink grapefruit and fresh yuzu juice are added after the initial filtration for a pungent, bittersweet citrus bite and a complex flowery aromatic finish.

Quince — Poland

Quince has historical significance in mythology and literature and is often associated with love and fertility in various culture.

Hibiscus — El Faiyum, Egypt

Harvested by hand when plump and juicy, hibiscus makes a full-bodied, crimson colored infusion with a flavor similar to tart cranberry.

Orange Peel — Spain

Orange peel is often used in herbal preparations, teas and natural remedies.

Lemongrass — Guatemala

Lemongrass is a perennial herb native to tropical regions, particularly Southeast Asia, India and Africa.

Based on an 8oz cup of tea made with suggested steeping method relevant to the tea type. An average cup of coffee contains about 90 – 120 mg / 8oz cup.
