Ingredients
- 2 oz milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 7 grams Rishi Barista Matcha OR 10 grams Rishi Houjicha Roasted Green Tea
- candied yuzu for topping (optional)
- french flake salt for topping (optional)
Preparation
- Create a double-boiler by filling a medium sauce pot 1-inch high with water; bring to a gentle simmer. Place a heat-safe bowl on top so the bottom of the bowl is not in contact with the water.
- Matcha Glaze - Add milk and vanilla extract to bowl. Sift in powdered sugar and 7 grams Rishi Barista Matcha over the milk; whisk until fully combined.
- Houjicha Glaze - Add milk and vanilla extract to bowl. Sift in powdered sugar and 10 grams Rishi Houjicha Roasted Green Tea Powder over the milk; whisk until fully combined.
- Keep bowl positioned on the sauce pot; turn o heat. Dip donuts into the glaze, one at a time, and place on a draining rack set in a half sheet pan. Immediately sprinkle any desired topping; allow to rest for 5 minutes for glaze to set.
