Autumnal Sparkling Sangria

Bright, fruity and gently spiced—a balance of tart pomegranate with zesty ginger and citrusy botanicals

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Muddle 1 tbsp of pomegranate arils at the bottom of a 16 oz glass.
  2. Add ice, 1 oz double-strength ginger syrup and dried orange wheels.
  3. Top with Elderberry Maqui Sparkling Botanicals.

Double-Strength Ginger Syrup Ingredients

  • 10 grams Rishi Tea & Botanicals Ginger tea
  • 10 ounces 200°F water
  • 1 cup sugar

Double-Strength Ginger Syrup Preparation

  • Infuse 5 grams Rishi Tea & Botanicals Ginger tea in 10 ounces 200°F water for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Strain/decant fully into a small saucepan set on medium-low heat.
  • Just before the liquid returns to simmer, turn off the heat and add the remaining 5 grams tea.
  • Cover and infuse for 5 to 6 minutes.
  • Strain/decant fully into a blender.
  • Add sugar and blend on low until sugar dissolves completely.
  • Strain.
