About this Product
Origin: Jin Long Ping Village, Xuan’en County, Hubei Province, China 
Cultivar: Baiye #1 
Harvest: Late March, Early April, 2023 
Elevation: 700-900m 

This Dragon Well micro-lot is made from a tea bush cultivar with creamy, ivory-colored leaves and buds called Baiye #1. This tea bush is known for its smooth taste, low tannin and rich balance of savory umami flavor and refreshing sweetness. The tea bush cultivar has low tannin and bitterness. 

Dragon Well green tea is a well-known, Chinese Tribute Tea once given as a tax to the Chinese emperors of the time. This batch was picked during the first flush spring Mingqian harvest season. It is lively and fresh with a creamy mouthfeel featuring notes of chestnut, expert roasting and sweet confectionary flavors. 

Traditional Preparation
Add 4g-5g tea per 350-400ml (11 – 12oz) water into a glass teapot.   
Use water cooled to 180°F. 
Infuse for 3 minutes. 
Repeat for another 3+ infusions. Increase the steeping time by 30 seconds with each additional infusion.
