Ingredients
- 16 oz apple cider
- 1T & 1t houjicha chai compound butter (recipe below)
- 1 cinnamon stick to garnish
Preparation
- Add 16 oz apple cider to a saucepan; bring up just to a boil
- Add in 1T + 1t houjicha chai compound butter to saucepan
- Turn heat to low and whisk vigorously to melt and emulsify the butter with the cider
- Continue simmering for an additional 4-5 mins to infuse the spices
- Serve hot with a cinnamon stick as garnish

Cocktail option: Add 1oz of dark rum to each mug before adding infused cider; stir well and serve
