Chai Rye Fashioned

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Masala Chai Infused Rye Whiskey
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 3 dashes black walnut bitters
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Orange zest, to garnish

Preparation

  1. Using a double rocks glass, add a sugar cube to the glass
  2. Dash both types of bitters over the top of the sugar cube
  3. Stir to dissolve almost completely
  4. Add ice and Masala Chai infused rye whiskey
  5. Stir until remaining sugar is dissolved and whiskey is properly diluted
  6. Express one orange peel and garnish with fresh orange zest

Notes

Masala Chai Infused Rye Whiskey

Using 10 grams Rishi Tea & Botanicals Masala Chai per 200 ml rye whiskey, infuse for 24 hours and strain out tea.
