Southeast Asia
Cinnamon Cassia is one of the first spices recorded in human history. Its use can be traced back to 2700 BC in China. The ancients of Egypt, Persia, Greece and Rome all used cinnamon in their cuisines. Cinnamon comes from an evergreen tree in the Laurel Family that bears aromatic green leaves used by local people in porridges and drinks. It is the sweet, astringent and highly aromatic grades of the tree bark that is harvested , sun-dried, cut, graded and traded as the cinnamon we all know and love.

This is my favorite masala chai. If you love spicy masala, this is for you! This is the BEST quality. I have yet to find a coffee/tea shop that has masala chai as good as this brand. I've tried to replicate this concentrate at home with Rishi's loose leaf tea and I can't make it as good. My only gripe is the high sugar content. Rishi, please make a version with less sugar, maybe 1/2 the amount.

Really fantastic! I found myself using less than they said because I did find it very strong, but for me that's great! More drinks per container.

This is the most amazing chai. I don't know what else to say. I'm now a chai tea snob and won't drink anything else without smug condescension.
