Carefully handcrafted to be flexible and resistant to breakage, the Premium Shin Chasen is an artisanal bamboo whisk made without the use of any chemicals. The bamboo is first kept in a warehouse for more than two years to remove all moisture. This process is completely natural and occurs before any processing.

Best Storage Practices:
This Premium Shin Chasen is susceptible to artificial temperature changes that include air conditioning, we recommend storing it in a place away from direct wind.
Be careful not to press the chasen against the bottom of a tea bowl as the tips are delicate and gentle care will extend the longevity of this handcrafted piece. This chasen is not dishwasher safe. After use, rinse the whisk with hot water and allow it to dry naturally before storing it in a dry area away from sunlight, high humidity, and high temperatures. The recommended humidity level for storage is 40% to 80%.
