Saffron Bitters is inspired by ancient Italian Amari recipes of bitter herbal liqueurs. Back in the days when the kitchen and garden were the peoples' pharmacy, Amari were concocted by local herbalists to ward off the ailments of the day. Saffron Bitters is inspired by the bracingly bitter edge and heady eucalyptus of Fernet Branca, and by La Stregga, with its golden liquor infused with angelica and saffron.
Double Dose Sachets are designed for the on-the-go tea drinker. Rishi's Double-Dose Sachets are crafted with a higher dose of tea for a full-bodied 12-16 ounce infusion.
These biodegradable, extra-large pyramid sachets hold 5g of Saffron Bitters and come in a 35-count bulk bag without individual wrappers. Our tea sachets are made from a plant-based, food-safe material called polylactic acid (PLA).
