I got two of these cups and they're both totally different. The glaze on one is brushed on very thin.... It looks almost gray and has clear brush strokes. The other cup is more like the picture, much thicker white glazing with three artifacts around the lip. This is the kind of piece you'd really want to pick out in person, ie not totally uniform. However the shape, volume, color and texture are exquisite. I don't know if I'd call it worth it for $37 each, considering the unknowable character of the glaze, but they really are wonderfully made. If you have a fancy lil pot that needs fancy lil cups then I recommend these highly, with the caveat that you get what you get.
