This Dragon Well micro-lot is made from a tea bush cultivar with creamy, white-colored first growth leaves and bud shoots called Baiye #1. This tea bush is known for its smooth taste, low tannin and rich balance of savory umami flavor and refreshing sweetness. Dragon Well green tea is a well-known, Chinese “tribute tea” once given as tribute tax to the Chinese emperors of the time. This batch was picked during the first flush spring Mingqian harvest season. It is lively and fresh with a creamy mouthfeel featuring notes of vanilla wafer, banana bread, and toffee.

Ingredients
Organic green tea
Traditional Preparation
Add 4g-5g tea per 350-400ml (11 – 12oz) water into a glass teapot.
Use water cooled to 180°F
Infuse for 3 minutes
Repeat for another 3+ infusions. Increase the steeping time by 30 seconds with each additional infusion.
